Engaging Los Angeles

UCLA undergraduates are “Engaging Los Angeles” through the Center for Community Learning. They roll up their sleeves and perform meaningful work in the diverse communities of LA, with academic projects ranging from one quarter to two years. Students from all majors learn alongside our region’s inspirational leaders, through internships and service learning courses. UCLA students are transformed into tomorrow’s leaders in a variety of ways, such as working with youth or older adults, researching public policy issues, or by bringing arts education to local communities. We challenge students to move beyond their comfort zones, take risks and acquire skills for the 21st century.

Making a gift to support the Center for Community Learning  ensures that UCLA will remain a national leader by challenging students to develop their leadership skills for the public good.
