Please note that all Writing II courses are officially designated as Impacted Courses and are denoted with a “W” in the schedule of classes. For detailed systemic information on what this designation entails, please review the
UCLA Registrar’s Office Impacted Course Policy.

Note on Class Restrictions: Individual academic departments may impose additional local registration regulations (e.g., class levels, restrictions to specific majors, or strict non-attendance drop policies). Students are strongly encouraged to thoroughly review the specific class notes section within the online UCLA Schedule of Classes when planning their quarterly enrollment schedules.
